Middle East made another step forward in the promotion of Bodybuilding with the first edition of the IFBB Diamond Cup Fujairah celebrated Friday, 21st April, 2017, in United Arab Emirates, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saleh Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Department of Industry and Economy.
Numbers of athletes from Syria, Yemen, Oman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Iraq, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates compete in the Diamond Cup; competing for money prizes offered to the Top three athletes in each category, and the two Pro Cards reserved for the two best competitors, in the Super Final.
This is a wonderful sporting event that takes place annually in the month of April.
Fujairah International Monodrama Festival is a prestigious gathering and celebration of the theatrical arts that is held in the Emirate of Fujairah once every two years. The Festival is organized by the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority and it aims at establishing the presence of Monodrama in the Arabic theatre in general and in the Emirati theatre in particular, and at contributing to the progress and development of this complicated and fine theatrical genre away from the sparkle of trophies and competitions. It also aims at supporting the young and talented artists who can contribute to its growth..
The event is organized by the Fujairah Tourism & Antiquities Authority, in cooperation with the Fujairah Culture & Media Authority, government agencies and institutions. It is held in the various historic locations within the city of Fujairah.
The event is held with the objective of highlighting the common heritage between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The Maktoum championship was inaugurated in 2008 and is held every year. These championships were named so because they reflect His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al Sharqi’s passion and enthusiasm for sports.
Every year more sports are being introduced to the already vast array held during the tournament.

The Fujairah International Marine Club, under the patronage of H.H. Shiekh Saif Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of Fujairah International Marine Club sponsors the Annual Off Shore Fishing Tournament which attracts world class fishermen to our crystal blue waters.
The tournament provides for great water action bringing in some of the largest off-shore sport catches.

The Fujairah Fort is characterized by its position on a high hill in the old Fujairah region, and built up to about 20 meters above sea level, and overseas the whole city of Fujairah at this height and is three kilometers away from the coast.
