From small innovative ideas to major adjustments in our practices, Fujairah International Airport is committed to the Emirate of Fujairah, the UAE and International community to giving a cleaner life to the future generations.
To create our current successes based on our responsibilities, a social bridge is created for our community. This bridge has allowed for the airport to connect with the community and its various organizations to help identify better educational and employment opportunities.
We understand our responsibility to Emirati Nationals. Through our strategic coordination with several colleges and universities, we provide external mentorship and aviation awareness training at the airport. Students are provided the opportunity to avail in a one month program to learn about the various facets of operating an airport. This training ranges from Air Traffic Services, IT, Human Resources and Administration to Ground operations and everything in between.
Fujairah International Airport is becoming a recognized leader in its training capability to the outside world. Growing from a small Air Traffic Service section, Fujairah International Airport is becoming a recognized leader in training new controllers, using its state of the art simulators. With new approvals for instructing ATC certifications from ICAO and the GCAA, we are opening the doors to an exciting career in Air Traffic Control.
Our dedicated safety and quality department provides exceptional training to the different functions within the airport ranging from safety awareness, quality audit inspections, process development, Airport Driver Permits and safety management systems.
The Rescue & Fire Fighting Services has expanded its external training capabilities through a proactive approach. Incorporating the NFPA Standards for Professional Qualifications, it can now provide better training for external customers in the areas of industrial, aircraft and structural live fire training at our dedicated training site. Classroom instruction is provided in Incident Command, Hazardous Materials and other fire protection related areas. Whether it is a specific subject such as SCBA training or a full curriculum in Fire Inspection, Fujairah International Airport can provide it.
